There’s talk that Gudivada YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani couldn’t get a meeting with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. When asked, Nani laughed off the rumors, saying they’re too busy with their own state stuff to worry about neighboring states.
He mentioned they could easily contact Sonia Gandhi in Delhi if they needed to talk to Revanth Reddy. Nani made it clear that YSRCP didn’t support any party in recent Telangana elections.
In a satirical tone, Kodali Nani said that Jagan visited KCR because of his hip injury, suggesting Jagan would only visit if Revanth Reddy also broke his hip. He asked Revanth Reddy to enjoy the CM seat given by Congress high command.
Nani explained that Jagan sent best wishes to Revanth after becoming CM through Twitter, and personal calls weren’t necessary.
The tension between the two states increased with Jagan missing Reddy’s swearing-in, and Nani’s statements added to the heat. Despite political differences, it’s common for leaders of neighboring states to be friendly.
