Kodandaram and KCR – Friends to Foes!

Earlier during Telangana agitation days, TRS and KCR would allege that the government is suppressing the Freedom of Speech whenever government refused permission for some dharna or agitation. But then KCR is taking the same path as his predecessors of the United State.

When Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram asked permission to do his fast at Indira Park. The Police department rejected it saying that they can not give permission when Assembly sessions are going on. Usually, such protests are done during the session to attract the attention of the Assembly.

There are instances in the past when permissions are given for Dharnas and Deekshas during the sessions. At most, Chalo Assemblies would be stopped. During those days, when TG Venkatesh criticized Kodandaram, KCR threatened to slit the former’s tongue but then the same Kodandaram has become a foe to KCR.

We do not know what happened between them but Kodandaram is always maintaining safe distance from KCR since the day the latter formed the government. TRS leaders are alleging that Kodandaram is a strong supporter of Congress. They are just short of stamping him as a Telangana Drohi.
