But then, the pressure is on Kodandaram from within the party to contest as they want him to represent the party in the Assembly. Earlier TRS Government successfully overrode the Opposition in the house and so, the party leaders want Kodandaram to be in the house as he will be handy to muzzle the government even if TRS wins.
If at Kodandaram contests, he may be in fray in Mancherial, Warangal West, Ramagundam or Janagama. Once the seat sharing is complete between the parties of Mahakutami, there will be some clarity about Kodandaram. Telangana Jana Samiti is seeking a minimum of 15 seats in Mahakutami but Congress is not keen on giving more than five.
Kodandaram is also of the opinion to adjust a bit so as not to allow the anti-government vote to divide. Congress wants to contest in a minimum of 85-90 seats and that means the remaining parties – TDP, TJS and CPI may have to satisfy with the rest of the leftover 29-34 seats
