Kodi Kathi Case: Jagan Cites ‘Traffic’ Problems

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed a petition in the Vijayawada NIA court regarding the Kodi Kathi case. He asked for an opportunity to record the evidence through the advocate commissioner.

Jagan filed the petition in the background of the magistrate’s order to appear in court in the last hearing.

“He has to perform the responsibilities as CM of the state. There are reviews of welfare programs for the poor. If the CM attends the court, there will be traffic problems with vehicles coming for security,” the petition said.

In the petition, Jagan requested that an advocate commissioner should be appointed and the evidence should be recorded in his presence.

Jagan filed another petition requesting a ‘deep’ investigation into the Kodi Kathi case.

The NIA court adjourned the case to the 13th of this month and will hear both petitions on that day.

Jagan Mohan Reddy who stalls traffic, closes down shops, and gives holidays to school every time he goes to some place or other for the public meeting is now worried about traffic if he attends the court.

The CM is also filing similar petitions in his disproportionate assets cases too.

After delaying the Kodi Kathi case and not allowing bail for the accused, the CM now wants a deep investigation into the case.
