High Court lawyer Salim has called upon Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to testify in the Kodi Kathi case, alleging that Jagan orchestrated a conspiracy for political gain. The lawyer, representing Kodi Kathi Srinu, claimed that after five years in jail, Srinu’s case still persists, accusing Jagan of demeaning Dalits.
Srinu’s mother, Savitramma, and Dalit community leaders organized a meeting demanding the cancellation of Srinu’s case, highlighting the prolonged imprisonment.
Salim warned of potential Dalit protests if the case isn’t canceled immediately. Savitramma, emotionally distraught, pleaded for her son’s release, blaming Jagan for obstructing justice and spoiling her son’s life.
The family staged a protest at Guntur Lodge Centre, emphasizing the severe hardships they face with Srinu in jail. Dalit community leaders joined the demonstration, expressing anger over Jagan’s alleged interference and pledging legal support to Srinu’s family.
