Minister Konda Surekha reacted to the angst over her statements against Nagarjuna’s family. Speaking to the media today, Surekha said she is taking back her words against Samantha and asserted that she has no personal enmity with anyone.
Surekha added that although she is taking back her words against Samantha, she won’t back down regarding BRS working president KT Rama Rao.
Yesterday, Surekha made demeaning comments about Samantha and Nagarjuna’s family while speaking against KTR. Her statements were so distasteful that the entire film industry, online community, and common people condemned them severely.
Apart from the Akkineni family, heroes like Chiranjeevi, NTR, Ram Gopal Varma and Nani also strongly condemned Surekha’s statements and demanded that she apologize.
Eventually, she had to apologize for her statements today. “While speaking about KTR’s character, his past wrongdoings, and how he mistreats women, I made some remarks about a family, which was wrong.”
