Former Minister’s Son Joins YSR Congress

Former Minister Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao’s son Sridhar is all set to join YSR Congress on 28th of this month. He met Jagan Mohan Reddy in Lotus Pond Residence. He will be joining the party in a big public meeting which will be arranged in Dwaraka Tirumala, West Godavari.

Vidyadhara Rao worked as Minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet for 10 years. The Senior most leader in TDP suddenly shocked everyone by joining Praja Rajyam Party before 2009 elections. He contested in 2009 elections on PRP ticket and lost miserably.

Subsequently, he became politically irrelevant with Prajya Rajyam downfall until he passed away. Political observers say that his joining is unlikely to help YSR Congress in any way. But then given that YSR Congress is in such a bad position in West Godavari, it will welcome anyone and everyone to the party.
