Kotla to Meet Naidu Tonight, Big Plus for TDP in Kurnool

Former Union Minister and Congress Senior Leader, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy is all set to leave the party and join the Ruling Telugu Desam Party. All the Youth Congress Association Leaders will also resign to the party en masse and join TDP. Kotla’s Followers are reaching his house in big numbers.

Reports are that the Senior Most Leader from Kurnool is all set to meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu tonight in Amaravati. We are told that CM Chandrababu invited him to Dinner tonight at his Undavalli Residence. He will be attending the Dinner along with his wife Sujathamma and son Raghavendra.

Kotla is demanding three MLA seats for his coterie while the Kurnool MP seat for himself. But then, this will mean a lot of churning in the existing seats in the district and so it has to be seen what Chandrababu Naidu will decide now. YSR Congress also tried to bring Kotla into the party but could not convince him.

Kotla can influence the victory of Kurnool MP seat to whichever party he joins. Even at the anti-wave of Congress Party in 2014, Kotla contested as Kurnool MP and got around 1.1 Lakh Votes. He can impact four constituencies – Kodumur, Pathikonda, Dhone, and Alur in the district. So, this is a huge plus for TDP provided ticket distribution is handled well.
