Krishna Yadav to leave TDP?

The recently announced structural changes in TDP has started creating new problems for the party in Telangana. The party has appointed Jubilee Hills MLA, Maganti Gopinath as Hyderabad City President replacing former minister Krishna Yadav. This decision was to impress the settlers ahead of the GHMC elections.

Also Gopinath is being extremely active in the party affairs these days. However this did not go well with Krishna Yadav who was made the Vice President of Telangana TDP. Krishna Yadav has openly declared that he is very soon deciding on if or not to continue with TDP after consulting with his followers.

Krishna Yadav may join the ruling party going by the indications. This will come as a setback to the yellow party ahead of the GHMC elections and the crucial by-elections in future. Krishna Yadav began his political career in 1985. Later also served as a minister. He was however suspended from the party in 2003 following investigation in the multi-crore fake stamp papers scam. He rejoined the party in 2003.
