Phone-Tapping scandal is one of the most discussed topics in Telangana over the last few days.
The suspended SIB DSP Praneeth Rao accused BRS of tapping the phone calls of various prominent individuals from the political space.
Until now, KCR and his BRS party members remained tight-lipped on the issue. Today, the party’s working president KT Rama Rao opened up about it in the BRS’s Parliamentary meeting in the Malkajgiri constituency.
Speaking at the meet, KTR admitted to phone tapping. However, he was quick to cover his statement by saying, “I don’t know.”
“They (Congressman) have been making a lot of fuss around phone tapping as if it was an international scam. Yes, a few calls might have been tapped. I don’t know. Anyway, what’s wrong in tapping criminals’ calls? That is the job of police, right?” said KTR.
Meanwhile, this indirect statement of KTR is now going viral on social media.
