KTR’s Coronation After Municipal Elections?

In an interview with a vernacular daily, Telangana Rashtra Samiti Working President, K Taraka Ramarao went on to say that he sees upcoming municipal polls as a verdict on his working style. This statement has started sparking speculations about if the coronation of KTR is round the corner.

From the past few days, a few TRS leaders have been making statements about seeing KTR as the next heir of KCR. Political Experts say that these statements may be intentionally planted aiming at gauging the mood of the Public and prepare them for the inevitable step.

After winning the second term, KCR appointed KTR as the Working President of the party. The Siricilla MLA is recently back in the cabinet after being left out for several months. If KTR leads TRS to a spectacular victory, probably he will be coronated due to the reason of being efficient.

On the other side, Harish Rao’s Group is fuming at these developments but the man himself is silent for now. The Telangana State Election Commission (SEC) had already issued notification for conduct of elections to 129 urban local bodies in the state and the polling is scheduled to be held on January 22nd.
