KTR – Owaisi's heated argument – What does it convey?

The discussion in Telangana Assembly over farmers suicides had seen a heated discussion between MIM MLA, Akbaruddin and Telangana IT Minister, KT Rama Rao. Owaisi objected few TRS MLAs laughing when he was speaking and he objected to that. He also launched an attack on the government based on some media reports on farmers suicides.

When the attack intensified, KTR objected and alleged that Akbar was trying to attract the media and vote bank politics through his comments. KTR also ridiculed that Akbar was trying to project lies as truth with loud voice. To which, Akbar objected and said KTR was trying to encroach the powers of Speaker by doing his job in the house.

This argument in the house comes at that time when BJP alleged that MIM and TRS are working hand in hand for the upcoming GHMC elections. Analysts see Owaisi’s attacking the government as keeping their options open for the GHMC elections. They may go independent in the elections and decide up on the alliances only after the results.
