Telangana cabinet minister Konda Surekha’s comments against BRS working president KTR and actors Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Samantha caused a huge stir in Telangana in the recent past.
The issue became so serious that both Nagarjuna and KTR filed defamation cases against Surekha. In KTR’s case, KTR and Dasoju Sravan Kumar recorded their statements at the Nampally Court a few weeks ago.
Today, the court recorded the statements of former MLA Balka Suman, former Minister Satyavathi Rathod, and BRS leader Tula Uma, who are named as witnesses in this case. Satyavathi Rathod said that she revealed everything she knows to the court. Meanwhile, the court is expected to allow Surekha to record her statement soon.
Surekha stirred a huge controversy in Telangana by saying that KTR was the reason behind Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce. She alleged that KTR asked Nagarjuna to send Samantha to him to avoid action against the latter’s N-Convention.
Many politicians, film celebrities, and common people condemned Surekha’s words and demanded a public apology. Later, Nagarjuna and KTR filed defamation cases against her respectively.
