A tragic incident occurred during KTR’s tour on Thursday. Cameraman Damodar collapsed with chest pain while shooting visuals. Police immediately shifted him to a nearby private hospital. As his condition worsened, he was taken to another facility, but he died while receiving treatment.
His body was later moved to the Gandhi mortuary. The incident took place while KTR was touring Jeedimetla in the Qutbullapur area. The sudden loss has shocked the electronic media journalist community in the city.
Experts say ignoring early health symptoms can lead to untimely deaths. They note that high pressure roles in media often cause stress related heart issues. Many young professionals are facing similar risks due to long hours and irregular food and sleep patterns.
Damodar was dedicated to his work, and fellow cameramen are mourning his unexpected death. They said it is a reminder for all colleagues to prioritise health concerns, even minor ones, before they turn serious.
