Former Telangana cabinet minister and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao addressed the media yesterday about allegations of him committing corruption in Formula E racing.
The current government raised several irregularities in granting permission for Formula E racing and also accused the previous government officials of corruption. In this context, KTR repeatedly mentioned that he fears none and would be ready to go to prison if proven guilty.
In this context, Revanth Reddy opened up about KTR’s repeated remarks on going to prison in the latest interview. Revanth sarcastically stated that an astrologer told KTR that whoever comes back from prison will be given the party president’s post.
“I am not sure why he is obsessed about going to jail. There are family disputes already. KTR and Harish Rao are not on good terms. The party president’s post is vacant. An astrologer said that those returning from prison will become party president. It is the reason why KTR wants to be so obsessed with it,” said Revanth Reddy in a sarcastic tone.
Revanth also added, “There is a process that should be adapted to send someone to prison,” hinting at his government working on exposing the irregularities of the previous BRS government.
