But then, ground reality seems to be different. YSR Congress Sarpanches of Kuppam have staged a protest demanding their pending bills for water supplied using tankers. These bills have been pending from the last two years.
The other day, Minister Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy toured Shantipuram of Kuppam constituency. YCP Sarpanches met him and submitted a requisition letter for the release of funds.
The Minister did not even care them and walked away with out giving any assurance. The Sarpanches have become angry and sat for an impromptu protest on the Highway raising slogans against the Government and the Minister.
“If this is the plight of the own party sarpanches, how do we convince people to vote for YCP in 2024? If the Government does not care for its own Sarpanches, how will people trust us to change their lives?,” they are lamenting.
Mandal level leaders reached the spot and somehow convinced them to stop their protest.
