Lagadapati’s idea for Telangana’s SHE Cabs!

Lagadapati Rajagopal, the former Vijayawada Congress MP almost became the brand ambassador of Pepper Spray after he used it in the Parliament during the State bifurcation. Pepper Spray is always proven to be a handy weapon for women in the time of distress. And now the Telangana government is planning to equip all its SHE cabs with a can of Pepper Spray which may help the women.

The taxis would be plying in the airport region and the IT corridor, primarily catering to women passengers. These taxis will only have women drivers besides geo fencing, GPS tracking, emergency buttons to directly contact with the near police station etc.

She cabs is a unit of She Help Foundation intended to provide safe travel cabs with high security for women in Hyderabad. The taxis are expected to come on roads in the second or third week of January.
