Lakhs of Hyderabadis Do Not Match a Single Ivanka?

After months of neglect, GHMC is laying brand new roads hurriedly and sprucing up various parts of the city days ahead of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), which will be attended by United States President Donald Trump’s daughter and White House advisor Ivanka Trump.

The summit will begin on November 28th and will be also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the officials are running pillar to post to give the city a facelift. Even the beggars are taken off the roads to please the Royal Guest.

But then, the citizens of the city have mixed feelings. While they welcome the roads at least now, they are disappointed that Lakhs of themselves can not match a single VIP. Some of the people are thanking Ivanka for the visit and some even want her to visit Hyderabad every three months.

Many people would want her to travel even in the pockets of Hyderabad so that the new roads will not be confined to Prime Areas as now. On the other side, Municipal Minister, KTR refused that the facelift is being done for Ivanka and it is a normal process every year.
