If everything went right, Telangana Bill may have been tabled in Rajya Sabha today afternoon. But the Law department put brakes on Congress led Central Government’s speed. According to the constitution, any bill which involves at least one rupee money transaction has to be tabled in Lok Sabha first. But with numbers on their side, Congress wants to table in Rajya Sabha and get it passed. In such case, they can face Telangana people even if the bill do not pass in Lok Sabha.
The legal department today alerted regarding it to the Government and the bill tabling was postponed. The Congress Core Committee met a short while ago and decided that the bill to be tabled in Lok Sabha on Thursday, Feb 13th. Congress Party’s hurry once again became an incident of mockery for all the opposition parties.
