Football legend Lionel Messi is set to visit Hyderabad as part of his G.O.A.T India tour on December 13. Under The G.O.A.T India 2025 tour, Messi will take part in a 7 versus 7 celebrity friendly match. The event will be held at Uppal Stadium.
Messi will face off with CM Revanth Reddy for the G.O.A.T cup. A large number of celebrities, sports persons, film stars and politicians are expected to attend. The visit has already created strong excitement among fans across the city and beyond.
On the morning of December 13, Messi will arrive in Kolkata. He will virtually inaugurate a 75-feet statue of himself due to security reasons. In the evening he will fly to Hyderabad. Around 200 team members will travel with him.
After the match at Uppal Stadium, Messi will conduct a masterclass for young players. He will later entertain the crowd with penalty shootouts. A music concert will follow the sporting action. Messi will spend the night in Hyderabad.
A dedicated security team will manage arrangements during his stay in the city. After Hyderabad, Messi will visit Mumbai to meet celebrities and walk the ramp for charity. He will then travel to Delhi for official engagements including a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This visit will mark Messi’s second trip to India. He earlier visited the country in 2011. That trip was for a friendly match with Venezuela in Kolkata. Fans are once again looking forward to witnessing the football icon in action.
