Loan Waiver for Capital Farmers at one go!

Andhra Pradesh Government has released orders for the Loan Waiver for Farmers belonging to Capital Region at one stretch. 7403 farmers belonging to 25 villages will get benefited from this move. Full amount for farmers who have less than 50000 loan (after scale of finance) and 20% to those have greater than 50000 have been already disbursed to the accounts earlier.

Now the government will be disbursing remaining 80% to those accounts. This is an incentive announced by the government to the farmers giving their lands for the capital. This decision is likely to bring an excess burden of about 200 Crore to the state treasury.

On the other side, the land pooling in the capital villages is going on at brisk pace. So far 8000 acres are pooled for the capital. CRDA is expecting to reach the 10000 acres mark by the end of this month. The government has targeted to collect 30000 acres of total 51000 acres found in this region.
