Lokesh’s Padayatra: This Should Not Be Missed At Any Cost

Nara Lokesh will be embarking on a 4000 Kilometers Padayatra for 400 days starting from January 27th. Padayatra has propelled YSR, Chandrababu Naidu, and Jagan into power. Lokesh will be hoping the same with his Padayatra in 2024.

But then, there is a fundamental thing that Lokesh should not ignore.

Padayatra should be often backed by some effective agenda. YSR’s Padayatra was successful due to his Free Power promise. Chandrababu grabbed the attention of the farmers with a loan waiver and in 2019, Jagan had Navaratnalu.

The Padayatras that are ineffective – Sharmila’s before 2014 (for a brief time) and now despite running into several 100s of Kilometers can not make an impact.

Lokesh should come up with a stellar agenda to make his Padayatra work with the people. Or else, it will not serve the purpose.

Setting such an agenda is not easy given the bad financial condition of Andhra Pradesh. The agenda should be crowd-pleasing as well as believable to the public.
