Narendra Modi Sarkar has completed 2 months in office. -> Narendra Modi marked his diplomatic success on the day one by inviting SAARC leaders to his swearing-in ceremony. He even broke the ice with Pakistan with Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff coming down to the Lutyens city.

-> Appointed a SIT (Special Investigation Team to bring the blackmoney in foreign banks to the country.

-> Brought professionalism in government offices by making sure staff comes to their work places in time. Also the 100 days targets ensured accountability in government officials.

-> Brings back the stranded nurses in Iraq successfully.

-> Daring decisions like hike in Railway fares and increase of FDIs in defence and insurance to 49%

-> Tries to rein food inflation.

-> Decent cut down of taxes and encourages savings.

-> Makes BRICS bank a reality with India heading it.

-> Introduction of Government-Citizen interaction portal

Lows

-> No reforms in the subsidy regime

-> Controversial appointment of Smriti Irani as HRD Minister.

-> Controversies like appointment of PM’s secretary, removing of Governors, forcible imposing of Hindi

-> Fails to control communal riots especially in UP
