MAA TV to fight out in US Courts!

Jadoo TV – an online TV channels streaming portal was in legal trouble after MAA Television Network Limited and other channels like Star Network, Viacom, NTV and Zee group registered a case against Jadoo TV for streaming the channel content on their website across North America, Europe, Middle East and several other nations illegally. The channel is run by Faisal Aftab and Sajid Sohail from the US.

The duo charge $300 from each of their customers for a set-top box. They convert DTH satellite TV channel signals into online streaming format and linking it onto Jadoo TV website which amounts to infringing the copyrights of the original content owners (here the TV channels).

However the content owners are now planning to take up the case with courts in the United States as the two prime offenders are residents of that country and are operating their business from there with very little presence in Hyderabad.
