Madhusudhanachari – First Telangana Speaker

Madhusudhanachari is elected as the first Speaker of Telangana Assembly. He is unanimously elected by all the members of the Assembly. TRS proposed his name in Assembly while Congress, TDP, MIM, CPI and CPM seconded his canddidature. Madhusushanachari is an active participant of Telangana movement even before the establishment of Telangana Rashtra Samiti. He joined Telugu Desam Party in 1982 with the call of Late NT Rama Rao.

He is one of the 15 MLAs announced by NTR during 1983 elections and he won from Sayampeta. He used to be TDP president of Warangal district and incharge of TDP office in Gandipeta. Later he joined TRS when KCR floated it in 2001 and known to be close confidant of KCR. He is the one of the very few leaders who stayed with TRS from its inception to till date. For his loyality he is rewarded with the Speaker post.
