Magunta Says Bye Bye Jagan

Ongole MP Magunta Srinivas Reddy has been at crossroads with YCP high command for the past few months and the stage looked set for his departure from the Jagan-led party. Finally, Magunta announced that he is quitting YCP.

The senior MP from Ongole is one of the financially sound MPs in AP and his departure before the coming polls can’t be a good sign for the ruling party.

About his resignation, Magunta said he has no ego clashes with his former party chief but he has self-respect which can’t be compromised for any reason. He further announced that he would pass on his political baton to his son Raghava Reddy.

The chances are that Magunta’s son will contest on the TDP ticket in the coming election and the stage is being prepared for the same now.

YCP senior and Jagan’s relative Balineni Srinivas Reddy fought really hard to secure Magunta’s ticket but that hasn’t happened now so we should see how Balineni reacts to the same now.
