How many times can one vote for one poll on the same day? Once, right! as they ink on your point finger you will be identified if you go for voting again. So you can’t cheat. Or, Maybe not! This fake finger technique that came up in Maharashtra allows you to vote again and again in the same poll.

Maharashtra Local Body elections witnessed these fake fingers using which the convicts practiced bogus voting. These fake fingers are found sold in the market especially for the elections. With this technique, one can vote twice or even thrice by wearing the fake finger and taking it off after inked and get the actual finger inked the next time.

These finger caps a little difficult to identify upon wearing them due to the likeliness of the same with the human finger. These finger caps were also caught at the UP elections by EC. So many ways to cheat on elections!
