A major jolt has happened to Team India ahead of the IPL and T20 World Cup. Multiple News Reports suggest that Virat Kohli will step down as Team India’s ODI and T20 captain after the World Cup. Rohit Sharma will take the reins from him.

Kohli, however, will continue to lead the Test team. There have been concerns about Captaincy impacting Kohli’s batting. Moreover, after Rohit Sharma’s successful stint as Mumbai Indians Captain, many are of the opinion that he is a better captain than Kohli.
