Mamata Waters KCR’s Third Front Dream

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee is the first supporter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s Third Front which he announced to be a front devoid of Congress and BJP.

Even though, there are different versions of who called who that day, KCR’s first support came from Mamata. But then, the Telangana Chief Minister has got a shock after Mamata agreed to send a Congress leader to Rajya Sabha from West Bengal. Congress does not have numbers to send the candidate on its own.

This is against the norm of KCR‘s Federal Front. We have already seen JMM’s Hemant Soren supporting the front and later announcing that JMM will fight Jharkhand Assembly and the upcoming Parliament Elections along with Congress.

On the other side, CPI also clarified that it will not support KCR’s Federal Front. KCR will be holding several meetings with various parties across the country after Telangana Assembly Budget Session and then we shall get an idea if the front will be successful or not.
