Man behind menstruation revolution in India!

Menstruation is the natural problem for all women but the woman in the poverty it is much more painful and embracing. They can’t afford to pay for the hygiene pads. A research also found that 1 in 5 girls drop from the school because of this embarrassment.

An Indian named Arunachalam Muruganantham made a revolutionary step in this aspect and found cheaper process that can produce hygiene pad at very low cost. He saw his wife using unhygienic pad at early stages of marriage and decided to take on the issue. He wore his invented pad and fed him with small tube of pipe with animal blood and he found that a foul smell for 20 minutes.

Though he faced embarrassment and public foe on his actions, he continued his research and succeeded to get a solution to the millions of girls across country. Now he has 877 brands make his sanitary pads in 27 Indian states.
