Young Man Who Performed Jayaa’s Last Rites Revealed

After a long wait and so much of suspense the news broke out yesterday night that Jayalalithaa is no more. The entire state of Tamil Nadu went into a shock and the final rites were finally completed today evening at 4.30 pm.

The legendary thespian was cremated in marina beach unlike the typical Hindu culture of burning the body. Jaya’s close aide Sasikala and one young man completed the final rites. All of this was shown on TV and discussions started as to who that man was.

There was news earlier that the final rites will be done by Vivek, the son of Sasikala’s niece Ilavarasi. But the young man shown along with Sasikala performed the duties. The latest reports now reveal that the man was Deepak Jayakumar, son of Jayakumar who is Jayalalithaa’s brother.

There is not much known about Deepak until today. Even the media was not highlighting him or nothing was known about him as Jaya never had much interaction with her family. But all this is now known to all as everything has been explained clearly.
