Mantralayam MLA Blackmailing Jagan?

Mantralayam MLA Balanagi Reddy is given high priority in YSR Congress. There are three MLAs and One MLC from his family. Bala Nagi Reddy wants a Yemiganur YCP ticket for his son, Dharani Reddy.

Bala Nagi Reddy made this attempt in 2019 also but Jagan refused. Now, Yemiganur MLA Chenna Keshava Reddy is not contesting 2024 due to his old age. Chenna Keshava Reddy wants the ticket for his son.

Jagan did not confirm tickets for both leaders. Bala Nagi Reddy is upset about it and is staying away from the party programs. Jagan recently removed him as Kurnool district YSR Congress President.

Bala Nagi Reddy’s family already has three MLAs and one MLA. Bala Nagi Reddy, Sai Prasad Reddy, and Venkat Rami Reddy are the MLAs while his other brother, Shiva Rami Reddy is an MLC.

YSR Congress leaders say it is not fair to ask for another ticket and become upset. “This is nothing but blackmailing even after the party has given so much importance to the party,” they say.

But the brothers say we are strong enough and have people’s support so we can ask. We will have to see how Jagan will deal with this.
