Massive ‘Anti-Wave’ Hits Tadepalli Palace

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who came to power in 2019 with record majority has been crushing dissent mercilessly since then. We have seen him dealing the Opposition with iron fist ensuring that they do not take up any on-ground agitations.

But then, with elections two years to go, the anti-incumbency can no longer be brushed under the carpet. It is evident from the Chalo Vijayawada call given by the Government employees. Government tried all possible ways to fail the program.

Vijayawada has witnessed never before seen and never before heard policing two days before itself. With Preventive arrests and checking every vehicle coming into Krishna district, there are Police personnel at every nook and corner of the city. Even with all this, Jagan Government is in for a big shock.

A huge wave of Government employees thronged Vijayawada and shouted slogans against the Government. We used to see drone videos of Jagan’s Padayatra previously with crowds. These videos have reminded of those days but Jagan on the receiving end this time.

Mind you, a huge percentage of the protesters still could not manage to participate due to the Police. More than any thing else, the videos and the congregation is an indication that days are numbered for Jagan Mohan Reddy if he continues to be in the denial mode. Public anger is clearly visible and YSR Congress can ignore it at its own risk.
