Media Watch: Margadarsi Raids, No Impact On Ramoji Rao

It is known to our readers that the Stamps and Revenue department of the Andhra Pradesh Government is raiding Ramoji Rao‘s Margadarshi Chit fund offices for the last couple of days.

The raids happened in eighteen places across the state.

Jagan strictly believes that between him and his second term there is only Eenadu standing in between. So, he is trying to shake Ramoji Rao.

But then, the media baron seems to be not impacted much if the path of Eenadu is anything to go by on the days of the raid.

Yesterday, the first edition after the raids Eenadu dedicated half of the main page to Superstar Krishna. However, there are stories like Jagan approving ten new liquor brands, YCP leaders forcing a woman to commit suicide, etc.

Today, the front page has stories like AP number 1 in loans, encroachment of Daspalla lands by YCP leaders, etc.

Yesterday’s Chandrababu’s Kurnool tour also got prominent coverage on the main page.

The inside pages also carried many stories on Government failures indicating that Ramoji Rao is refusing to bow down irrespective of what Jagan does.
