Microsoft Announces Another Major Layoff

The global recession has been leaving the tech workforce almost sleepless as layoffs are being announced left, right, and center.

In a new development, Microsoft has announced a new round of layoffs in the company and this could affect close to 300 employees.

Microsoft has given the pink slip to over 276 employees in its Washington office alone as a part of its organizational workforce management and adjustment. The company vows to focus on strategic development and intends to adjust its workforce ration to suit the financial implications.

This comes after Microsoft announced 10,000 layoffs earlier this year. This new round of layoff is a minor, albeit a worrisome one for those involved with the company.

Other tech giants like Amazon, Google, and Twitter have also cut their workforce substantially since the start of last year.
