MIM retains Old City, but still worried

MIM which ruled the Old City until now, managed to sustain its majority there. However like never before in the past, TRS showed signs of making a mark even on Old City. Several of its candidates managed significant votes in many divisions.

Adding to this, for the first time after a long time, MIM will play no role in deciding the mayor of GHMC. Until now, MIM divisions were crucial in deciding that and they also managed to share the mayor term.

TRS have a good chance in penetrating in to Old City with out any second thoughts. This victory of TRS may also force MIM bigwigs in to jail over the cases in which they attacked Congress leaders and even the deputy CM.
