Mini elections on the way in AP

Andhra Pradesh is going to face a Mini Election very soon. Eleven Municipalities which did not go for elections until now will have the elections by October and November of this year. These municipalities were spread across the length and breadth of the state and so can be treated as Mini Election and will be a referendum of sort for TDP government.

The voter lists for these elections will be finalized by May 25th. The government will then decide the numbers of SC, ST, BC, Men, Women voters and will then announce Ward Reservations. As of now things are looking positive for TDP since the opposition parties are in shambles all over.

YSR Congress is fully disappointed after the back to back defections and the party is not able to make any mark on people. Congress party is clueless as ever since the state bifurcation and BJP can fancy its chances only if there is an alliance with the ruling party. So, a favourable mandate for TDP is not difficult.
