Minister’s ‘Boot Lickers’ comments shake TS Assembly!

Telangana Power Minister Jagadish Reddy’s comments on Congress MLAs in Assembly set the proceedings there on fire. The house was discussing on power projects in Mahabubnagar. Congress MLA, DK Aruna remarked that Minister Jagadish Reddy should learn subject as he is new to the house.

Agitated Jagadish Reddy called Congress Leaders as ‘Boot Lickers of Andhra Leaders’ and that remarks poked Congress to disrupt proceedings of the house. After adjourning the house, Speaker announced to remove those words from records while Congress demanded an apology from the Minister.

This is not the first time Jagadish Reddy being center of controversy. Earlier in this session, he even apologized for using cuss words in the house. Interestingly this incident happened within a day after Minister Harish Rao ridiculed AP Assembly and spoke high of Telangana session being dignified.
