MLC Aspirants’ wait gets longer!

Politically unemployed leaders in the ruling and opposition parties have pinned high hopes on the MLC seats of Local body quota to settle down. The local body elections which were postponed for several years finally concluded just before the elections and parties have given MLC seats promise for those who were refused tickets in the elections to avoid rebel contests. However a little mistake in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act is making the aspirants restless wait.

The 90 MLC Seats in the United State were divided 50 to AP and 40 to Telangana according to the bifurcation act but according to the local body number, Andhra Pradesh was supposed to get 58 seats. The change should rectified by the Union Law Ministry and Home Ministry. The file is expected to float between the two ministries in the next two months. Only then, the job mela will begin from the political unemployed leaders.
