Mobile App for live tracking RTC Buses!

If you usually commute by buses, your endless wait for buses in bus stops will end now. RTC is in the process of rolling out a GPRS-based android mobile app that gives live information on the movement of buses. The app, Hyderabad Metro Buses is available on the Google app store being tested for bugs.

he app currently tracks Metro Express, Metro Deluxe and AC buses. They are very soon planning to roll out to all the city buses in Hyderabad. It is currently giving the bus timings in English, Hindi and Telugu. It also provides the options of finding the nearest bus stations, route map guide, search by route, by bus stop, bus number and to-from location options.

CMC the company which developed the app has developed another app ‘Find Bus APSRTC’ which cater the services to Vijayawada, Vizag and Tirupati. On the other side the app for Hyderabad is expected to be rolled out next month.
