Modi appreciates Telangana Policy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in all praises for Telangana government’s policy of imparting permissions for various industries and projects. He even went on to say all the states should be proactively using this policy. Modi made this remarks in the video conference with all the Chief Secretaries of the states and Senior Central officers.

Modi reviewed about the implementation of various projects, digital India and computerization of land records. Telangana’s Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and Senior IAS officers Raymond Peter and MG Gopal attended this conference. Modi mentioned about Telangana’s good work while discussing about ease of business.

He mentioned about Telangana’s industrial permissions, self declaration system, environmental clearances, Volta act etc. Telangana government is implementing ‘Deemed Approval’ system in which if certain permissions are not given in fixed time, the permissions are deemed to be granted. This is first of its kind policy in the country. Now that it won the Prime Minister’s appreciation, the state government’s stature in investors will be further increased.
