Modi has no time for KCR

The cold vibes between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seem to be continuing after KCR was once again refused an appointment with the Prime Minister. KCR was trying to meet the PM for a long time but is not getting his appointment.

The Chief Minister was supposed to fly to Delhi from Kerala on Saturday but after the appointment was not cleared, the CM flew back to Hyderabad. Officials say KCR will be visiting Delhi in few days and again the visit is subject to confirmation of the appointment with the PM and other Union ministers.

The coldness between KCR and Modi started after the former called the Prime Minister ‘a fascist’. Telangana government is also not interested to ape the NDA government at the center. The state did not enthusiastically promote Modi’s pet campaign ‘Swachh Bharat’ and also did not observe ‘Good Governance Day’ on December 25. Both the programs are taken prestigious by the Prime Minister. However KCR has softened his stand a bit on the center and was asking his MPs to go soft on the center but Modi is yet to respond for those feelers.
