Modi’s Team snail paced in joining Social network!

Its almost a month since Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed his Cabinet colleagues to join Social Networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to be more available to people. However Central ministers are too slow to catch up Modi’s speed. It is decided that each Ministry will have a nodal officer who monitors the updates that go in to social networking sites. But till now only around 20 from the 51 ministries in the union government, have nominated such officers and even they are yet to undergo proper training. The dates of their training are not yet finalized.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Home Minister Rajnath Singh were already on Twitter. Rajnath Singh and Sushms Swaraj like Modi have both their personal and official Twitter IDs. I&B minister Prakash Javadekar, Ganga Rejuvenation and Water minister Uma Bharati and power minister Piyush Goyal have Twitter accounts even prior to becoming Ministers.
