Moral Victory, Votes of Just 10 People – YSRCP Struggles to Defend

YSR Congress is shell-shocked by the results of the three MLC seats in which they have lost their stronghold seats including the party’s bastion, Kadapa. Even though the party leaders tried to put up a brave face, the disappointment is written all over their faces.

Jagan Mohan Reddy tried to belittle the loss saying that it is just about power politics. Sakshi TV went on to say that YSR Congress put up a strong fight despite the ruling party misusing its power and hence it is a moral victory of YSR Congress.

Party’s MLA, Srikanth Reddy went on to say it is just an election of 10 people and can not be considered as ‘People’s Mandate’. On the other side, TDP fans claim that this is the biggest moment of the party after 2014 elections and will be a huge morale booster ahead of 2019 elections.
