More AP Institutions Moving out of Hyderabad

Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to shift more Government institutions out of Hyderabad. Earlier, Andhra Pradesh government had decided that the offices of institutions under Section 9 and 10 of AP Reorganization Act will remain in Hyderabad until the assets are divided between both the states.

But then with the rest of the administration in AP, several issues are cropping up. So, Andhra Pradesh government had decided to move such offices which do not have assets in Hyderabad. The Chief Secretary had given the necessary instructions.

Andhra Pradesh is insisting on the division of assets in Population ratio under which the state gets major share out of these assets but then Telangana is insisting that it should happen according to the location of assets. Telangana will get benefited out of that since most of them are in and around Hyderabad.
