Most Awaited News for AP NRIs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the International Terminal Building at Gannavaram Airport on January 12th. The new terminal building works started six months ago with a cost of 143 Crore. The Building was to ready by Krishna Pushkaralu.

But it was delayed so as to make the construction withstand cyclones. 95% of the works are complete and only interior works are remaining. A Lot of NRIs hailing from Andhra Pradesh are waiting for International Flights to operate from here as they can directly take off from here instead of going to Hyderabad or Chennai.

This is a topic of discussion whenever a group of AP NRIs meets. The feeling and the need increased after bifurcation and it makes their travel much faster/easy to reach home. We have seen Andhra Pradesh airports register astonishing growth in passenger footfalls after the state division.
