It is becoming increasingly common for film stars to enter into politics and test their luck here. Earlier it was the case of Pawan Kalyan, who became the deputy chief minister in his second election, followed by Thalapathy Vijay who went on to become the CM in Tamil Nadu in this year’s general election.

Manchu Manoj who recently married Bhuma Mounika Reddy was asked if his wife would be actively contesting in the next election, and he had a very affirmative reaction to the same.

Manoj confirmed that his wife Mounika will definitely be contesting in the next election and he even added that their family had always been active in politics and never got away from the political arena.

The point to be noted here is that Bhuma Akhila is already active in politics as she is a representative on behalf of the Telugu Desam party. She is one of the senior leaders for the party in Nandyal.

Now it has been seen if Mounika would also take up the TDP baton or shift to Janasena, considering that TDP is firm on giving only one MLA ticket per family. This is a derivative of Manoj’s confirmation of his wife’s participation in the coming election as he sounds so sure about it.
