MS Dhoni Gives Away the Captainship Forever

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of those great personalities who doesn’t need an introduction. There are more fans for his captaincy than for his other skills as a cricketer. He is called as the coolest captain that Indian cricket team has ever got. But then all of sudden, he stepped down as Indian ODI and T20 captain effective Wednesday.

BCCI gave this message on Twitter saying that Dhoni has stepped down as captain of Team India but will be available for selection of ODIs & T20Is vs England. Dhoni has already taken retirement from Test cricket with which Virat took the captaincy and now he completely withdrew his lead.

BCCI expressed their pride for having such an efficient captain and thanked Dhoni for his services as captain of team India and for his contribution to the achievements of Indian cricket team under his leadership. Though Virat is doing great and India feels safe and strong in his hands, India is definitely going to miss the cool captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
