Muhurtham Set For New Districts Of Andhra Pradesh

The moment has come for the formation of new districts in Andhra Pradesh. The new districts will be formed on April 4 between 9.05 am and 9.45 am.

On April 6th, a felicitation ceremony will be conducted for volunteers for their services. The government has announced that the Vasathi Deevena function will be held on April 8.

A high-level meeting chaired by CM Jagan on the formation of new districts was held this morning. Jagan discussed with the authorities the complaints and suggestions received from the people and public representatives.

There is a talk of changing the names of several districts and district headquarters and setting up new revenue divisions based on the feedback received from the people.

12000 complaints and suggestions have come on the draft of new districts proposed by the government. There are doubts if the government really examined them.

The existing thirteen districts of Andhra Pradesh will be reorganized to twenty-six. The plan is to make each parliamentary constituency into one district. Being a big constituency, Araku was divided into two taking the total count to 26.
