Can he steady BJP’s ship in Telangana?

Reports are emerging that BJP high command is planning to relieve BJP National Secretary Muralidhar Rao from his national duties and appoint him as the President of BJP’s state unit in Telangana.

The current President Kishan Reddy is all set to complete his second term in couple of months. Kishan Reddy proved to be very ineffective and self-defeating for BJP in Telangana. BJP high command hopes only Muralidhar Rao can steady the ship in the newest state of the country.

Muralidhar Rao’s appointment will come as a surprise as several senior state leaders like Lakshman, Yendla Lakshmi Narayana, Perala Chandrasekhar Rao, Ramachandra Rao and Chintala Rama Chandra Reddy are expecting the position.
